State Pension Update

default

At present, the State Pension age is currently 65 for men and slowly increasing from 60 to 65 for women.

However, there are more changes ahead; from 2019 the state pension age will increase to 66 for both men and women by October 2020.

The government are then planning further increases, this will result in the State Pension age increasing from 66 to 67 between 2026 and 2028.

The State Pension age could change again in the future dependent on a range of different factors.

The date in which you are eligible to claim your state pension is dependent on when you were born.
